I have purchased a reverse angle trailer to replace a traditional float.
I have two large (17h) horses, 6 and 3 years old.Neither had travelled on anything other than a traditional float, the 3 year old had only floated once. The float is solid and does not rattle so very easy to introduce to a young green horse.
"Wow, thank you. Mums float is 43 years old and after the rebuild it'll be around for another 43 years"
"Thanku soooo much for your hard work, I LOVE it & so does Lyric already! It's perfect. Only took 2 minutes to
Teaching them to load was easy and the rail system makes the process simple and logical. Unloading is natural as the horse is lead from the float with no need to back down a ramp. The float is very easy to attach to a vehicle, tows smoothly and is very quiet. The horses weight is evenly distributed so there is no impact or "bumping" on the vehicle. There is a camera system which provides rear view coverage of traffic.Ample storage within the side panels means there is no need to carry saddlery in the vehicle, this is easily accessed and has saddle/bridle racks, water pump and miscellaneous storage (coats, boots, rugs etc)As the devider bars are magnetically stowed to one side and the rubber interior makes cleaning the float exceptionally easy.In summary the horses arrive relaxed and ready to work which makes it particularly easy to recommend this concept to a to someone contemplating purchasing a new trailer.
get her on for the first time. Then she just yawned spread her feet out comfortable and looked around, very content. No poos or basilbrush tail or any signs of discomfort.
Solid but light weight is awesome, . Tows great, so smooth and quiet no wonder the horses travel so stress free"
Congrats to Devon & Busuto, Level 8 champions at Taupo. Busuto was a very chilled boy - arrived after traveling from Auckland and in the arena 2 hours later. He travelled great for his first trip, home in the dark too
